ASUS First Thunderbolt Monitor with 3D, WiDi and multitouch

ASUS First Thunderbolt Monitor with 3D, WiDi and multitouch

When it comes to monitor, people might not expect much from ASUS but it seems that its first Thunderbolt monitor can come quite as a shocker, and we mean this in a good way as well. It is a 27-inch monitor with specifications not found in most common monitors. These are specifications that you might want to expect from a very high-end monitor and this exactly what it is.TECH-PLUZ

The screen is an IPS display with a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080. As far as anyone is concerned, IPS screens are well known for its 178° viewing angle and this Thunderbolt monitor by ASUS is no different. In addition to that, it also sports a 3D monitor with an MHL port and thus allowing it to work with a few noteworthy tablets and phones. Not only that, it also has a multitouch display making it possible for you to use it for any purpose that you might think of.
This monitor is really packed with features. Besides Thunderbolt, you will also get a USB 3.0 socket along with a HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort. The pricing for the monitor is still unavailable but for now, expect it to be a bit more expensive than the normal 27-inch monitors.

LG Optimus 4X HD to come to Europe

LG Optimus 4X HD to come to Europe

LG certainly has some good smartphones and the LG Optimus 4X HD is one that a lot of people have been waiting for. It was already expected for the Optimus 4X HD to come to Europe sometime this month and as expected, that is exactly what is going on. Some of the countries that will be getting this juicy device are Great Britain, Sweden, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands.TECH-PLUZ

The LG Optimus 4X HD is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. With this being said and done, you are looking at a quad-core smartphone that is certainly irresistible. The screen is a 4.7 inch True HD IPS LCD. The operating system that powers it on the other hand is the Android Ice Cream Sandwich which is certainly the latest and the best of the lot.
Other than that, users will be getting a 1GB RAM, 16GB worth of internal storage, a high capacity 2,150 mAh battery, all for a thickness (or thinnest perhaps) of only 8.9mm. With all of this being said and done, you can expect the LG Optimus 4X HD to be big. However, only time will tell if it can compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S III or the iPhone 4S for that matter.

Here’s Why Apple’s iPhone Charger Is So Expensive

Here’s Why Apple’s iPhone Charger Is So Expensive

Apple’s products as well as their accessories are easily the best in build quality ever, with even the insides of them made elegantly to look beautiful. But they are also the most expensive one.
You might have thought that Apple charges you too much for your iPhone chargers to make some more profit, but after reading this article you’ll know that you were wrong, as being built nicely is not the only extra feature those chargers have.TECH-PLUZ

An Apple enthusiast and techie, Ken Shirriff tore open the Apple charger to work out the inner workings of it. According to Ken, the power adapter used by Apple is a pretty different one used from other manufacturers such as Samsung and is even better than some other high- quality industrial designs — and has high cost. He also says that Apple has gone to great lengths to reduce EMI interference (charger interfering with the touch screen).

He goes on to say that Apple‘s heavily tweaked charger enables it to be a lot safer in a couple of ways, such as:

-Super-strong AC prongs
-Complex over-temperature or over- voltage shutdown circuit

Even though Apple’s iPhone charger is safer and better than a lot of other chargers, still it is expensive for it’s price, so Apple is certainly trying to stretch it’s profits by this.

Apple has been a big source of innovation this past decade, with new technologies such as Retina displays and stuff. But this piece of tech, Apple manages to fit in it’s iPhone chargers to make them more safe was yet unknown, so we wonder what else they are doing in it’s devices that we don’t yet know of.

“Game Of Thrones” Is Coming To Facebook, As a Game

“Game Of Thrones” Is Coming To Facebook, As a Game

“Game Of Thrones”, the famous American medieval fantasy television series started by HBO in April 2011, and then renewed for a season 2 in April 2012 seems to be getting a lot of popularity, cause now it seems to really be the “Game” of Thrones as it is coming to Facebook as a social video game.TECH-PLUZ

Highly anticipated since the early ages of it’s development, Game Of Thrones has been HBO’s one of the most popular television series. And it is probably because of that reason that a Boston based gaming company known as “Disruptor Beam” has decided to make it as available as a social game on Facebook.

Apparently, those developer at Disruptor Beam were a huge fan of the “Game Of Thrones” even before they had been asigned the task to make a game for it as their CEO, Jon Radoff said on a press release on Monday.
The gameplay will be based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series of books, in which the players will be able to play a noble sworn to one of the seven great houses, at the time when the Westeros is at war, making it difficult for the player to trust anyone. The game will be using Facebook’s social integration features, though not much of the game itself has been disclosedby Disruptor Beam. Nor have they given a release date for it. So “Game Of Throne” fans will have to patiently wait for it.
Are you a fan of Game Of Thrones ? If so, then are you excited about this game?

This Awesome Facebook Smartphone Concept Will Compel You To Buy It [PHOTOS]

This Awesome Facebook Smartphone Concept Will Compel You To Buy It [PHOTOS]

Just a week ago, we reported about the world-famous social network, Facebook looking to get into the hardware business by launching it’s own smartphone by next year. However, some Facebook fans are already anticipating the smartphone by making concept designs of how the Facebook phone would look like.
TECH-PLUZ

This Facebook mockup by Michal Bonikowski certainly strikes as a Facebook phone the moment you set your eyes on it. For one thing, it comes in that distinguishable Facebook-blue color, which makes it stand out in a world of black and white smartphones.TECH-PLUZ

The second thing that you will notice is that this Facebook-phone-concept resembles an Android on the front (more like HTC devices), while the rear has got a look quite similar to an iPhone, if you rule out the bluish color and the camera placement.
The concept doesn’t has much info in terms of specs, nor on the software operating the phone. The only thing it shows is a 4.2 inch screen, and an 8 Megapixel camera on the back. A front camera or probably just a light sensor is visible but the creator of hasn’t said anything about that. The standard stuff such as volume rockers, 3.5 mm headphone jack are also present.
You can check out rest of the images of Facebook-smartphone concept below,

There is also a image of this concept phone with a dock,

Facebook doesn’t has a good record in dealing with mobile apps and stuff, so it remains to be seen if Facebook can turn that around with it’s own smartphone.
Will you be buying it if Facebook does make a smartphone like this?
