Samsung Galaxy Player 70, iPod Touch competitor?

Samsung Galaxy Player 70, iPod Touch competitor?

Samsung has been churning a lot of successful products. Its Samsung Galaxy S II was the closest competitor that the iPhone ever had while the Galaxy Note is paving its way across the market. Its tablets on the other hand are some of the best in the market as well. Apparently, that isn’t good enough for Samsung as they are now releasing the Samsung Galaxy Player 70. This device isn’t a phone but rather something of an iPod Touch competitor instead.

Underneath its 5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, the Galaxy Player 70 sports a 1GHz dual-core processor although it is available in a Wi-Fi only setting. The device also comes with 5 megapixel camera which would do the user much good. This portable media player (PMP) also has a TV Tuner although it currently works in Korea only. There is no telling whether there will be a version which will support over-the-air television in other countries.
There will be two versions of the Samsung Galaxy Player 70 which are in 16GB and 32GB variants. However, this device is due to be released in Korea and there is no telling whether the company will be releasing it to other countries yet.
